How to use the serial number
1. Install Autodesk Autocad and activate it.
2. Open Autocad and click the file Properties from the Window menu.
3. Paste the serial number.
4. Click OK.
5. Go back to the Home-Screen of the program.
6. Select the file that is linked with the number.
7. Click the Edit menu and select Update Components.
8. Click the Update Components menu and select the Save Features.
9. Click OK to save the components and then exit Autocad.
10. Go back to the Home-Screen.
11. Choose Update Components again.
12. Select the Update Features menu and then exit Autocad.
13. Now Autocad will scan the machine you are using.
14. Restart the machine and Autocad will ask you to upgrade the components.

You have to remember the serial number for updating the software. This serial number is not the same as the serial number of the certificate.
